1. About the app

Island is a Windows app distributed by [full name / sole proprietor, tax ID]. The app is free to use on any number of computers. Cloud sync is invite-only; paid subscription terms will be published separately.

2. What is allowed

• installing and using the app for personal and work tasks;
• sharing the installer downloaded from this website, unmodified.

3. What is not allowed

• modifying the app, bypassing its protection, distributing modified versions;
• using the cloud service to store illegal content, for mass mailing or for load unrelated to syncing;
• sharing access to your cloud account with third parties.

4. Liability

The app is provided “as is”. We work to make it reliable but do not guarantee it is error-free and are not liable for indirect losses related to its use. Keep backups of important data.

Third-party services you connect (mail, AI, speech recognition) and their costs are the responsibility of their providers under their own terms.

5. Cloud account

You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery key safe. Because of end-to-end encryption, we cannot recover data without them. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms after notifying you by email.
